Over a Decade of Passing Down Ancient Herbal Wisdom
Nature's Secret Formula, Now in Your Hands
AloEx Thai Herbal Shampoo Brand — From the origins of Thailand's leading herbal shampoo brand to a market leader trusted by Thai people for over 15 years, we have preserved the efficacy of Thai herbs in addressing hair loss, reducing thinning, and restoring thick, confident hair — which is why we have earned the trust of Thai consumers as we expand across Asia.
Through dedication — from the Bai Khoi manuscripts to Thai traditional medicine passed down from generation to generation for more than 200 years — ancient inscriptions were discovered that clearly identified plants on an ancient list, along with methods for cutting, boiling, drying, and extracting them. Drawing on this experience, knowledge, and expertise in Thai herbs, AloEx joined forces to decode the Bai Khoi Thai traditional medicine manuscripts together with a team of experts, in order to develop shampoos and serums extracted from natural herbs that are safe and gentle on the scalp.
From the Bai Khoi Thai traditional medicine manuscripts, we found that some plant names remain the same as today, while others have changed across different localities. We collaborated with linguists from leading universities to trace the writing on the Bai Khoi inscriptions back more than 200 years, and with botanists to help decode and confirm the plants appearing in the manuscripts. We traced the methods of grinding, extracting, and heat-boiling, then developed the technology into steam distillation extraction to obtain the aromatic essential-oil vapor from each plant — using modern processes to preserve the true value of authentic Thai herbs.
AloEx is a natural product composed entirely of Thai herbal extracts, free from chemical contamination, making it gentle on the scalp and safe for a baby’s skin.
From the dedication put into studying the extracts in the 200-year-old Bai Khoi manuscripts, Thai scientists discovered the wonder of these herbs — that the herbal ingredients in AloEx genuinely help care for the hair and nourish the scalp. They help fight bacteria and fungi gently, help reduce inflammation of the follicles and scalp, help nourish the hair roots, and have a special property of helping counter the hormone Dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a male hormone found abundantly in men and to some extent in women, which makes hair finer, thinner, and prone to falling out. The herbs in AloEx can counter this DHT hormone precisely, by natural means.
Proven results over time: In 2023, AloEx submitted its herbal extract for testing by the Research Centre for Bioorganic Chemistry (RCBC), Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University. It was found to contain antioxidants that help protect against degeneration of the scalp and follicles, delivering performance up to 371 times* that of the standard antioxidant benchmark. In addition, 9 types of terpenes** were discovered, which can effectively help end hair fall and restore the health of the scalp and hair.
Compared with hair-loss treatments in modern medicine, or hair transplants — which are not easy and come at a high cost — it can be seen that AloEx can deliver results at a comparable level.
“And most recently, AloEx reaffirmed its leadership in natural innovation by submitting the AloEx herbal extract — an extract produced through AloEx’s proprietary extraction process — for testing by the Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR). The results, compared against the two standard drugs, showed that the AloEx extract alone can help reduce hormone-related hair fall comparably to Finasteride, and help stimulate new hair growth comparably to Minoxidil.”
AloEx, the Thai herbal shampoo brand — the ultimate hair-protection formula that everyone can access, through nature and over 200 years of ancient Thai traditional medicine, proven by modern science and by real users over a continuous period of more than 3 months. It helps restore scalp balance, reduce hair fall, strengthen the scalp, and make hair look thicker — like turning back the clock for your scalp once again.
